The upcoming OnePlus 10T handset gets the manufacturer’s fastest charging to date at a full 150 W, which should be able to charge the 4800 mAh battery from 0-100 percent in just 19 minutes. For enough power for a day, 10 minutes at an outlet should be enough.
The charger is called the 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition and is actually only supported for outlets rated for 220 volts or higher. This means that those in North America, where most outlets are rated either 110 or 120 volts, will not be able to charge at full speed. Here in Europe we charge at full speed.
Despite the fast charging, OnePlus says the battery should retain 80 percent of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, roughly four years of use. The battery in the phone consists of two cells, which are charged with 75 W each. There are also a total of 13 temperature sensors to keep track of the temperature in the phone.
The OnePlus 10T will be fully unveiled on Wednesday, August 3.
