207,000 concurrent players.

Pastry days have been the norm for Capcom in recent years, with success too Resident Evil (2, 3, 7, Village), Devil May Cry 5 and the crown on the work – in terms of the number of games sold – Monster Hunter World. With 9 million sold and a fifth place on Capcoms through the ages list will Monster Hunter Rise hardly separately, and with the expansion Sunbreak released, there will probably be more millions.

It is clear that Sunbreak helped Rise to break a grand Steam record (via Steamdb), with 207,517 concurrent players. A real boost compared to Rise release figures (134,262). It should be added, however, that the figures at the time of writing are brand new, so the record may not be long-lasting.

To Capcom’s absolute Steam record, it’s a long way. The record? 329,000. Holder? Worldof course.

The ratings for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak are high (via Opencritic), men the reactions to Steam are, however, mixed. The criticism is largely about bugs, which will hopefully be remedied.

Earlier this year, Japanese employees received a real pay rise from Capcom – as much as 30 percent!
