Apple has removed the requirement to wear masks in the workplace. Employees can now decide whether or not to wear masks in offices.
The letter, obtained by The Verge, notes that the requirement is being lifted “in most workplaces,” but the company did not disclose which areas still require masks to be worn.
“Feel free to continue wearing the mask if you feel more comfortable that way. Please respect the decision of each person to wear a mask or not,” the letter says.
Apple explained the waiver of the mandatory use of masks “under certain circumstances.”
