Bethesda has hired one of the developers of the Fallout: London mod. The project manager has meanwhile turned down a job at another development studio.
Lead Technical Adviser Ryan Johnson will join Bethesda as an Associate Level Designer, the modder team said.
The project should be finished
Johnson, who advised the mod’s level designers, is wished all the best in a statement.
“He helped consolidate his knowledge into valuable design documentation, allowing the rest of the team to move on seamlessly,” it says.

Dean Carter, the project lead for Fallout: London, had also received a job offer. After careful consideration, however, he decided against a position at Double Eleven, the co-developer of Fallout 76.
Carter justifies it by saying that he wants to finish developing the mod. Last year, Bethesda hired Fallout: London’s head writer Stephanie Zachariadis as an associate quest designer.
Fallout: London, a mod for Fallout 4, is scheduled for release in 2023.
