The live stream of version 2.8 of Genshin Impact was rich in information, with new events to discover as well as a new 4-star character, Heizou. But of course, since we’re nearing the end of the whole Inazuma-related story, all eyes are on 3.0 and the release of Sumeru regionthe game’s new major open-world area. HoYoverse has therefore decided to give us a first glimpse of Sumeru, just to distance the leaks around the game, which are more and more numerous.

Here is a little less than a minute of video, with a first official teaser from HoYoverse, which shows us what the Sumeru region will look like. We can therefore see a lot of verticality with an area that will take us into the tropical jungle, probably before leading us to a more desert part in the future. We also see for the first time the statue of Archon of this region.
As we know, the arrival of a new region is always very important in the game, since it will bring a new version of the Voyageur/Voyageuse as well as many new characters, and it is to be expected that the next live presentation focuses on the full presentation of this version, scheduled for later this summer.
