IT House July 2 news, according to VGC reports, Ubisoft announced that it will retire online servers for some old games on September 1, and even some game DLC on PC will no longer be available.

Remastered games are not affected.
Additionally, according to Ubisoft, many PC games will no longer be able to install or access DLC, and Ghost Recon 4 Future Soldier’s single-player campaign will only work in offline mode.
The publisher claims that,Closing online services for some older games “allows us to focus our resources on newer or more popular titles to provide players with a great experience.”
Units and challenges using Ubisoft Connect will also be disabled, meaning players will no longer be able to earn Units by completing certain quests.
Content that can be unlocked through Ubisoft Connect, such as maps and skins, will also be disabled, meaning players will no longer be able to unlock them.
This is Ubisoft’s second round of server shutdowns this year. In April, Ubisoft shut down the multiplayer portion of games like Avatar, Rainbow Six: Vegas and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, marking the end of the online gaming service.
