Long-running online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic will continue to be powered by BioWare. Now the developer has released a major new update with version 7.1.
EA and BioWare today released the major update to game version 7.1 called Dig Deeper to Star Wars: The Old Republic. Above all, this brings a new operation with “R-4 Anomaly”, but also the “Manaan Daily Area”.
Update 7.1 has you returning to Elom to find new clues to Darth Malgus’ mysterious plans. You can also use new tactical items and enjoy the improvements to the user interface with new customization options.
The most important innovations in version 7.1 according to official information at a glance:
Story Update: “Dig Deeper” – Players will discover new mysteries about Darth Malgus’ motivations, his mysterious plans, and the fate of Jedi Padawan Sa’har Kateen, who faced the renegade Sith Lord in the ancient ruins of Elom.
Operation R-4 Anomaly – In this new 8-player Operation, players will take on a dark Sith cult bent on harvesting technology from an ancient weapon of terrible power. This new Operation is available in Story Mode and Veteran Mode for all characters at level 80 in the Activity Finder.
The following items can be unlocked in the Operation:
- Virulent armor sets
- Dangerous armor sets
- Operation R-4 Anomaly Bosses and Decorations
- Equipment with an item value of 340 in Veteran mode
Manaan Daily Area – Players travel to Manaan to complete two new faction-based stories and repeatable missions. To access these missions, characters must have completed the Onslaught and Legacy of the Sith expansions. Manaan Daily Area Missions are available in the Manaan Daily Missions Terminal or in the Activity Finder.
Four new tactics – New tactical items are now available from the vendors in each fleet’s supply area:
- Mercenary Bodyguard / Combat Medic Commando: “Kolto Fumes”
- Carnage Marauder / Battle Warden: “Shards for Mortis”
- Arsenal Mercenary / Rifle Command: “Gyroscopic Stabilizers”
- Innovative Ordnance Mercenary / Assault Specialist Command: “Magnetic Resonance”
increase in power – New equipment items have been added to the Fleet Upgrade Vendors. Players can upgrade items up to item value 330 by completing Conquests, Flashpoints, and Legacy Operations.
Improved player experience – The new update also includes class balance changes, character panel improvements, customizable subtitles and a color wheel for combat style icons including a color blind option.
Nar Shaddaa Nightlife 2022 – The Nar Shaddaa Nightlife Event is back. From August 2nd to September 13th, 2:00 p.m., new rewards will be presented, which include the last year’s High Roller Shades were inspired.
