From July 14th, Aldi will be able to buy a new gaming PC, but this time it comes from HP instead of its own brand Medion. It relies on a Core i7-12700F and a Geforce RTX 3060 Ti, but unfortunately little is known about the rest of the components. Therefore, read more about the offer for the Victus TG02-0500ng below.
Computers have been sold at the discounter Aldi for a long time. The own brand Medion covers a broad portfolio of office machines, laptops and high-end gaming PCs. At the height of chip shortages and the mining boom, these were often a good alternative to building your own, since they were actually available and could be bought at regular prices and are otherwise intended for users who cannot or do not want to deal with their hardware themselves.

Now Aldi has a new offer, which, however, does not fit the usual pattern. The gaming PC TG-02-0500ng from Victus comes from HP and is to be sold from 14.07 at 7:00 a.m. at a price of €1,499. The Intel Core i7-12700F is a very fast CPU that is ideal for current games. It is combined with the standard 32 GiB RAM. Although Alder Lake supports DDR5 memory, DDR4-3200 is used here, which is at least built into the dual channel.
The system appears to be sensibly tuned in terms of its core components. Unfortunately, the offer lacks detailed information on the cooling of the processor, the power supply, the built-in mainboard and the exact model of the SSD, so at this point it can be assumed that these are very cheap OEM components that do not offer optimal performance still provide facilities.
