Twitter for Mac crashes on startup
BUT number of reports twitter has started to rise to the surface about this issue while also confirmed it. You can check it out for yourself by trying to open the Twitter for Mac app. Most likely, it will immediately fail even before the window appears.
In fact, the app even silently crashed in the background for macOS users who opened it before the massive crashes began. This issue does not appear to be related to an Apple software update as it affects users of multiple versions of macOS, including the latest macOS Ventura beta.
There is currently no permanent solution for this issue. This fix is likely due to Twitter doing some kind of server side update. Perhaps the problem is as simple as rouge trying to load on startup.
At that time, some users reported that uninstalling the app and reinstalling would fix the issue. However, in our testing, this is only a temporary fix and the app will crash within a few minutes.
