Tonight, two small link tips for train travelers and everyone else who is perhaps still looking for easily accessible destinations for their 9€ ticket.
First the project direct.rail.guru from the German OK Lab Berlin. There you can enter a departure station and all the places that can be reached by direct train connection are displayed on the map. Very practical for those who want to cover a long distance without having to change trains. However, there is also an option in the top right to limit the results to local transport. If you click on a result, you will also see the respective train number or other information.
The other website chronotrains-eu.vercel.app shows destinations that can be reached within one (red) to five (light yellow) hours by train. These are rather rough guide values, because, for example, a relatively long transfer time of 20 minutes is expected, but perhaps a very good indication for tourist trips with the €9 ticket.
The data comes from both projects from Deutsche Bahn and is relative Completely. This also includes large parts of Europe.
