Electronic Arts has begun preparations for EA Sports FC and secured its first major league license. Accordingly, the Spanish La Liga will be available in the “FIFA” successor.







Although football fans will receive a “FIFA” again this year, the 30-year collaboration between Electronic Arts and the World Football Association was officially declared over last May. Because EA Sports and the top Spanish division, “La Liga”, have decided on a “one-off, multi-year partnership” that will begin in the 2023/2024 season.

The Spanish mark reports that the sponsorship deal will cost Electronic Arts 30 million euros per year. In return, you get the naming rights to all La Liga competitions and a complete La Liga rebrand with EA Sports, which includes logos, graphics, fonts and other visual elements.
