The developers of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS — since that’s now its name — just reveal the content of the next update 19.1. Scheduled to arrive on the test servers around August 9, it will bring several new features. Starting with a new vehicle named Pillar Security Car. Inspired by the chases of Hollywood films, it is a kind of police car with its flashing light, its siren and its trunk filled with contraband goods of equipment.
Next is the P9, a new weapon that acts as a lighter P90. If it does less damage than its elder, has less range and a lower rate of fire, it is however available everywhere on the map. Unlike the P90 which is only found in supply crates.
To protect against this terribly threatening weapon, the developers have also added a deployable shield. Be careful, because once unfolded, you cannot recover it! Finally, this update will also offer new tactical equipment: an enemy detector. Using your tablet, detect all enemies within a 100m radius. The tablet updates every 5s, whether you have it or not. Be careful, this object will occupy the slot of your main weapon.
Of course, there are also a whole bunch of unnecessary additions, such as a building created in collaboration with Assassin’s Creed, new dances, but also tweaks here and there. Details of the update in thearticle published on Steam.
