World of WarCraft fans have reason to celebrate as Blizzard Entertainment today kicked off Season 4 of the current add-on Shadowlands.
The current World of WarCraft: Shadowlands is entering its next round: Blizzard Entertainment has announced that season 4 is now live. It will introduce the new cloaked affix for Mythic+, as well as the new fateful raids and other game content.
The most important innovations are officially stated as follows:
- Fateful Raids: All Shadowlands raids are getting the new mode, “fatefulEach week, a different raid (Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Dominion, or Mausoleum of the First) becomes doomed. This will add a variety of affixes to encounters on all difficulties and increase the item level of rewards.
- The rotation begins this week with Castle Nathria.
- New dungeon rotation for Mythic+: This Season, the Mythic+ dungeon rotation features a variety of current and legacy dungeons, including two community-voted favorites:
- All Megadungeons in split form:
- Tazavesh – Wondrous Roads (Shadowlands)
- Tazavesh – So’leah’s Gambit (Shadowlands)
- Operation: Mechagon – Junkyard (Battle for Azeroth)
- Operation: Mechagon – Workshop (Battle for Azeroth)
- Return to Karazhan: Lower Section (Legion)
- Return to Karazhan: Upper Realm (Legion)
- Warlords of Draenor’s community-voted dungeons: Iron Docks and Grimrail Depot
- New Affix for Mythic Keystone Dungeons – Shrouded: As players progress through their keystone dungeons, they will encounter Dreadlords disguised as normal dungeon NPCs. When players track them down and defeat them, they gain a stacking buff of their choice.
