No more hegemony, we will have to roll up our sleeves: 2K Games will indeed have competition on the wrestling side since THQ Nordic has just announced the existence of AEW Fight Forever, a new wrestling game developed by Yuke’s Co studio, the former developers of WWE 2K precisely. Thanked a few years ago after an inglorious episode of WWE 2K19, the Japanese studio has therefore found its former partner, when THQ was still an American entity. Now under the aegis of Sweden’s Embracer Group, the firm has new ambitions and releasing a wrestling game seemed obvious to both companies. However, if we have to be content with a simple video teaser, we do know that this AEW Fight Forever wants to reconnect with old-fashioned wrestling, with a more arcade approach and feelings of immediate fun. Details on the gameplay features have also been released.
