Rumors of a return of “Mario’s oldest enemy” come up fairly regularly. There is even talk of a 3D Donkey Kong made by the studio Nintendo EPDs (to whom we owe super mario odyssey). Maybe we’ll find out more in the next Nintendo Direct…
In any case, this modification of the trademark (the registered trademark) of Donkey Kong did not escape the sharp eye of @Kremling Kampaigner (necessarily if it is a question of bananas to be stolen).
This modification of the mark is somewhat different than usual, because in addition to the renewal, a mention has been added concerning downloading the program for portable consoles.
Not saying that this is necessarily the sign of a new simian adventure, but we would not say no to its return in the manner of a DK 64! What do you think ?
Nintendo has updated the trademark for Donkey Kong. Rather than being a routine extension of an existing trademark, this is a new trademark with updated verbiage pertaining specifically to video games, including “downloadable programs for portable and electronic consoles.” pic.twitter.com/UgWpK8VHwH
