Microsoft is working on a new OneDrive client for Windows 11, and it was built from the ground up, which accidentally leaked online last weekend.

OneDrive may be integrated into Windows 11 version 22H2 and will become part of Windows Search and even File Explorer.

OneDrive now has standalone clients for Android and iOS, but it doesn’t have a full-fledged PC client, just a taskbar-based OneDrive client that allows users to manage synced files, uploads, and more. The new OneDrive client promises to break that.

It is worth mentioning that,The OneDrive client follows Windows 11’s WinUI principles with a brand new navigation experience. Options are available on the left, and the interface has been overhauled.

While there are no new features, all existing options are still available, including the ability to personalize sync settings, notifications, and more.

The leaked version of the OneDrive client is not yet available for download as it cannot guarantee stability. If you still want to try the new OneDrive experience, make sure to perform the installation on a device in the Dev Channel.
