SearchMyFiles is a small, portable tool that you can use to quickly and specifically search for files or folders. From the new version 3.20 a new function is now included. You can search for a file name or a path that is longer than the number you set.
Certainly interesting when it comes (still) to the path length limit. Because even if you can remove the path length limit of 260 characters under Windows, there are still programs that cannot cope with a longer path length.
Two years ago we introduced you to a similar tool (Path Length Checker). But if you should use SearchMyFiles anyway, you save yourself another tool.
As before, only the folder needs to be specified. Optionally, the exclusions and under Attributes you can then set the file name longer than X characters, or paths longer than X characters and enter the desired number next to it. An attempt with me brought with 250 no result. So everything is ok here.
