Washington Township held a National Night Out event at the Washington Lake Park Ampitheater Tuesday night. National Night Out is a nationwide event which promotes positive relationships between police departments and the communities they serve. Members of the Washington Township Police Department, as well as EMTs and firefighters, were on hand to meet with the community and let children onboard some of the rescue vehicles.
