Apple released another update to its Studio Display yesterday that should solve problems with the sound. The previous version of software 15.5 had the version number 19F77, the new one is 19F80.
Since the launch of Studio Display, several users have complained that there is something wrong with the sound or the speakers in the display, including that the sound disappears at times or that the playback is distorted. This update should fix this, writes Apple.
To update Studio Display, plug it into a Mac and in System Preferences select Software Update, there should be the update.
