So this is the game Sherlock Holmes: Night of the Sacrifices which will return to the front of the stage through a remake (which will take the English name of the game: Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened) that we discover today on video. The latter promises many changes, especially with regard to the graphics (fortunately), the gameplay which should be more modern, a completely reworked story with new quests and personalities in line with the facts told in Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One.
This remake takes advantage of an atmosphere straight out of Lovecraft’s books, as evidenced by the first trailer. A first trailer which is also (and above all) the opportunity to launch the game’s Kickstarter campaign (crowdfunding) whose objective is to collect 70,000 euros. If this amount is reached, the developers are even considering additional content in the future. At the level of the game, it is interesting to note that it will take the form of a semi-open world in which it will be necessary to solve eight investigations, all while discovering different places in the world such as London, New Orleans, and many Moreover…
If everything goes well, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will land on our consoles in February 2023.
