The German publisher announced this Thursday its change of identity on social networks. Gone are the sober gray and blue letters on a white background, the new logo is more dynamic and futuristic. The name itself seems to be a contraction of the English “Play On”, which is nothing but an invitation to play.
Today marks an exciting day in the history of Koch Media as it changes its name to PLAION.
Our passion for entertainment has been driving our evolution since 1994. Now we are writing the next chapter of our journey!

For now, PLAION seems to want to keep its business as we know it. This essentially revolves around the publication of video games, as well as cinematographic distribution on a more occasional basis.
Among the best-known licenses of the publisher, we find in particular Subway, Dead Island, Homefront, Let’s Sing or Saints Row. This franchise will also return to the front of the stage this month, with the release of the new opus on August 23rd.
Without a doubt, PLAION will not stop there and will present its vision of the video game future to us very soon. During Gamescom surely?
