Netflix has broadcast on its Youtube channel the credits of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the anime from the universe of Cyberpunk 2077. We learn as well as the opening music “ This Ffire » was composed by Franz Ferdinand, the world famous British band for the title “Take Me Out”. Akira Yamaoka, Mr. Silent Hill, is responsible for the soundtrack as a whole.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells the 10-episode story of a street kid trying to survive in a city of the future obsessed with technology and body modification. While he has everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive becoming Edgerunner, an outlaw mercenary also called Cyberpunk.
As said several times, this project was born from a collaboration between CD Projekt Red and Trigger. The studio behind Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia or SSSS.Dynazenon. During Geeked Week, the firm at N red revealed a behind the scenes video from production.
The Cyberpunk: Edgrunners animated series will be available from September 2022, without a definitive date, on Netflix.
