HARVESTELLA, the life simulation RPG coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam on November 4!

We’ve given you an overview of the game, highlighting its many depths, from farming, crafting, and socializing to fast-paced, strategic combat:

Still, we know you want to know more, so we thought we’d give you a fresh look at the game.

We reveal one of the most beautiful cities in the game and one of its key inhabitants, we introduce you to some of the seasonal crops you can cultivate, a new profession to face monsters and much more!

But before that, let’s quickly recap for those who missed the initial announcement: what is HARVESTELLA?

This new game is a life simulation RPG that lets you enjoy everyday life, socializing, and adventure.

In everyday life, you can spend a relaxing day farming, fishing, or herding cattle, before heading into town to socialize and build relationships with the locals. If you want to test your combat skills, you can enter a dungeon to battle hordes of monsters with a variety of weapons and professions.

Whatever you do, time passes through the seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter. But between each of them is a fifth season: Quietus! During this time, crops wither and die, and a deadly dust keeps people locked in.

You’ll have to plan for the changing seasons and the inevitability of the Quietus as you try to solve the mysteries of this season of death.

The Town of Spring: Nemea

In this beautiful city, flowers bloom all year round thanks to the influence of the nearby spring light.

Once night falls, the city shows another face.

Cherry blossoms dance across the night sky in a dreamy spectacle.

Despite its beauty, the town of Nemea is plagued by turmoil. A giant egg has appeared on the Lighthouse of Spring – one of the giant crystals that rule the seasons. Since then, unknown monsters have been flying around the city and attacking the inhabitants!

When you visit Nemea, you become involved in the investigation of the Seaslight, alongside Asyl – a member of the Argus Squad who protects the town.

You can see the springtime sea lights from the Nemea observation deck.

Your party sets out to investigate the Seaslight…

… but what awaits you there?

Resident of Nemea: Istina

Next, we’ll introduce you to one of the memorable characters you’ll meet in this flowery place: Istina.

Istina is a teacher who lives with the children of the town orphanage.

She is intellectual, calm, and rarely displays her emotions openly. She enjoys reading about different places in the world and often reads aloud to children.

This is how she spends her days and she is adored by the townspeople. However, it is said that she arrived in Nemea only a few years ago.

Upon meeting the protagonist, she must confront the past that she has kept hidden…

Adventure: Jobs

When it comes to combat, you have access to several jobs, which define the weapon and abilities you can use in combat. Last time, we introduced you to the Fighter, Mage, and Shadowwalker professions; this time we are revealing to you the profession of sky spear.

This profession uses a spear and excels in physical attacks with wind attributes. As it learns many wide range skills that take advantage of the spear’s reach, the Sky Spear is very useful when facing multiple enemies!

When you recruit a character who has a certain profession, the protagonist will also be able to use that profession! In the screenshot above you can see how working with Asyl unlocked the use of the Sky Lancer!

Socializing: Character Stories

Characters who can join you in battle as allies and other important characters each have their own story.

These stories focus on the issues that each character faces.

As you progress through a character story, learning more about each character’s thoughts and feelings, your closeness to them increases. This grants you a series of advantages in battle, and you can even receive rewards!

Daily life: Fishing

Fishing is another way to spend pleasant hours in HARVESTELLA. You will be able to do this when you get a fishing rod.

Find a fishing spot, and you can cast your line and catch some fish. As with the crops on your farm, you can ship the fish for money, or keep it for cooking. What you can catch depends on your location and other conditions. You might even be able to catch something other than a fish…

You can even upgrade your fishing rod, allowing you to catch even rarer fish!

Daily Life: Shipping

You can earn money in HARVESTELLA by shipping the fruits and vegetables you harvest from your fields.

You can use the machines you’ve crafted to create Processed Goods, which ship at an even higher price.

We hope you enjoyed this brief overview of what awaits you in HARVESTELLA. Of course, this is just an overview. There will be plenty more to see and do when the game launches November 4, 2022 on Switch and Steam.
