Rumors and alleged leaks about Nvidia’s new generation of graphics cards, such as the Geforce 4070, trickle in at regular intervals – more on that later in the article. At the same time, the prices of the Geforce 3000 series are steadily falling. In particular, the top graphics card Geforce 3090 with 24GB graphics memory is in a weekly comparison in a veritable price slide. The gap to the RTX 3080 Ti 12GB, which is equipped with only half as much graphics memory, has never been smaller, as our new Geforce market overview of the cheapest offers from RTX 3050 to Geforce RTX 3090 Ti shows. Anyone who wants to buy a graphics card with a generous 24GB has never had to invest less.

How are the prices of the RTX 30 graphics cards developing?

Compared to the previous week, you only pay 1,058.40 euros for the cheapest graphics card with Geforce RTX 3090. Dealer Mindfactory and manufacturer Inno3D are responsible for this price slide of over 250 euros. If you want to buy a graphics card equipped with 24GB, you should take a look at the offer, which as always is only valid while stocks last. For comparison: For the cheapest Geforce RTX 3080 Ti with only half as much memory, you only pay around 80 euros less.

Geforce RTX 4070: New specifications are making the rounds

Once again, new specifications are making the rounds for the Geforce RTX 4070. Now the card should appear directly with the full expansion of the AD104, but above all with more and faster memory. Twitter legend “Kopite7kimi” now names 7,680 FP32 shaders for the chip, which is said to be the full expansion of the AD104. It had previously been assumed that the full expansion would be used in the RTX 4070 Ti and that the RTX 4070 would have to make do with 7,168 FP32 shaders. However, the difference is larger when it comes to storage. Previously it was said that 10 GiB at 160 bits with 18 Gb/s was said to be 12 GiB at 192 bits with 21 Gb/s. This is not only a welcome upgrade from 2 GiB more memory, but also a significant increase in bandwidth from around 360 GB/s to around 504 GB/s. It is believed that the card would get around 11,000 points in Timespy, about 1,000 points more than the old configuration. That would put it in the range of the Geforce RTX 3090 Ti.
