There have been rumors for a long time that this year’s Apple Watch models will come in three different sizes, definitely approaching the existing 41 and 45 millimeters plus another size. Now display analysts Ross Young and Jeff Pu go out with the information that Apple has ordered screens for an Apple Watch that is 1.99 inches, that is, just over 50.5 millimeters.
It should also be the case that the manufacturer Luxshare will be the only supplier of the new two-inch screen that is described as a “high-end” screen. How the three screen sizes will be matched with the alleged three upcoming Apple Watch models – Apple Watch Series 8, a new Apple Watch SE and a brand new more durable model called “Explorer Edition” – remains to be seen.
