On July 5th, according to display analyst Ross Young,Apple is currently developing the Apple Watch Series 8 with a new 47mm large version.
It is understood that the case sizes of the first three generations of Apple Watch were 38mm and 42mm, respectively, and the size of the seventh generation was enlarged by 41mm and 45mm.
The Apple Watch Series 8 will be about 5% larger than the seventh generation, to an unprecedented 47mm, which means that Apple uses a larger display in a thinner case, or the case size increases in proportion to the size of the display.
It is reported that the Apple Watch will be equipped with a large 2.2-inch display on a 47mm case,And Ross Young thinks it may use a 1.99-inch display.
On the core configuration, there are reports thatApple Watch Series 8 will use S8 processor chip, however, the chip has been used in the Apple Watch for two years. The appearance of the new product will also be greatly changed, and a new straight screen + right-angle frame design will be adopted.
In addition, Mark Gurman, a well-known Apple whistleblower, also believes that the next generation of Apple Watch will be equipped with a new sensor with a body temperature detection function.
The Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to be released in September alongside the iPhone 14, possibly in three sizes, with a stronger case and more health features.
