In addition to the co-op campaign, the upcoming Halo Infinite co-op update will also add the ability to replay past missions.
Flight testing of Halo Infinite’s long-awaited co-op campaign mode begins next week. The release of the update is currently scheduled for the end of August by 343 Industries.
But playing through the campaign together is not all that the update will have to offer. As has now been announced via Halo Waypoint, a mission replay function will also find its way into the game.
This will allow both solo and co-op players to replay already completed missions. All players have to do is open the tac map and select the desired mission, difficulty and skull.
The mission will then reset and the response team will be teleported to the starting point. Whether the players devote themselves to fulfilling the mission or prefer to tackle other challenges is up to them.
Since players have their Spartan Cores collected later in the game at their disposal when repeating previous missions, completely new possibilities open up within the missions.
Achievements new to Halo Infinite with the update will include tasks that require both playing the co-op campaign and replaying missions.
