RWBY: Arrowfell Unveiled in New Nintendo Switch Trailer – Nintendo Switch

The RWBY license is preparing to welcome a brand new video game this year with the announcement of RWBY: Arrowfell on Nintendo Switch and competing platforms. Expected fall 2022we let you discover below everything there is to know about this new adventure that will allow Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang to stand out with their combat abilities.

With an in-continuity story written by RWBY writers Kerry Shawcross, Miles Luna and Eddy Rivas, RWBY: Arrowfell puts players in command of Team RWBY – Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long – shortly after they get their license as huntresses in volume 7 of RWBY. Players will be able to instantly switch between characters to battle Grimm’s Creatures and other enemies using the heroes’ signature weapons – Ruby’s Crescent Rose, Weiss’ Myrtenaster, Blake’s Shroud and the Celica of Yang – in melee and ranged combat. Exploring the sites of Atlas, Mantle, and the surrounding wilderness, Team RWBY will complete missions for familiar characters like General Ironwood and the Ace Operatives (as well as everyday citizens) while uncovering clues to a new mysterious threat lurking in the shadows.

Players will also be able to use Team RWBY’s shards in and out of battle. Ruby’s Petal Burst allows her to dodge attacks and dash to distant locations; Glyphs of Weiss create usable platforms that can burst into offensive shards; Blake’s Shadow manifests a doppelganger that can attack and activate pressure plates; and Yang’s Burn unleashes a ground punch that deals damage and destroys obstacles. By combining Semblances, players are able to solve increasingly complex environmental puzzles, and each character’s Semblance can be upgraded to become even more effective. Additionally, by collecting skill points, players can customize and upgrade RWBY team attributes, including melee attack, ranged attack, defense, and energy regeneration.
