Last straight line for Digimon Survive whose release date is officially scheduled for July 29 on Nintendo Switch and competing platforms. While the last trailer that revealed its release date had in the end revealed very little to us, a new trailer was released by bandai namco, taking stock of the gameplay of the Tactical-RPG. In the game, players explore a mysterious but dangerous world, navigating between encounters with friends and foes, uncovering troubles and clues, and engaging in thrilling battles.
The world map will help players explore their surroundings, with many important interactions between Takuma, his friends, and their Digimons. Choices are important because they can impact not only the story and fate of certain characters, but also how certain Digimon evolve.
Interactions will also prove useful during battle, as players can encourage their Digimon to give them boosts and perks, and try to talk to enemy Digimons with a chance to recruit them to their team. During these battles, positioning will be important to gain an advantage, as well as the use of items and skills to survive in this mysterious world. Finally, Digivolutions will play an important role in giving strong boosts to Digimons and turning the tide in battles.
