The fighting game Guilty Gear Strive will continue to receive additional content at least into the next calendar year. Arc System Works has communicated the current schedule for the updates.
In June 2021 the fighting game “Guilty Gear: Strive” from Arc System Works was released for the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 4 and the PC. At that time, the developers had already confirmed that due to the restrictions that the Covid 19 pandemic hit the studio, some features that were originally planned for the launch had to be canceled and that they would be handed over over time.
Characters, crossplay and more
Since then, the developers have already delivered features such as a diorama mode and five additional characters. A roadmap for upcoming updates to Guilty Gear: Strive was released as part of The Past, Present, and Future of the Guilty Gear Series panel hosted at EVO 2022. You can look forward to the following content and improvements:

However, Arc System Works has not yet announced a specific date for the next update and has not yet revealed the new character. However, the official unveiling could take place over the weekend. Numerous announcements are usually made on the final day of the EVO.
