From October 28, 2022, the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is supposed to cause a sensation in the shooter genre, but when will the previous beta actually increase? There is now a new rumor about this – from a very reliable source.

Recently there have been claims and rumors on the net that the beta test phase of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II could be held as early as August this year – but these do not seem to be true. The corresponding beta start date seems to be delayed to September.

At least that is what the statement of a very well-known leaker suggests. Tom Henderson has once again spoken up, who now denies the supposed August date due to an Amazon leak. In his tweet, Henderson takes up the statement of another prominent insider and, to a certain extent, supports it.

Earlier, RalphValves announced the September start date for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta. As previously announced, a roadmap that is not yet official envisages a PlayStation-exclusive start on September 15th and 16th, before the first open beta is scheduled to start on September 17th-19th. According to reports, this will then be expanded to include cross-play again in early access from September 22nd to 23rd, before there will be another open beta from September 24th until September 26th – i.e. up to around a month before the Full version release.

Although, according to both leakers, the beta will no longer take place in August, the month should still remain significant for the new shooter. Various multiplayer reveals, events and other new information are planned for the summer month – perhaps on the occasion of gamescom in Cologne.
