Apple has released the fifth beta of the upcoming iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 updates to developers and public beta testers, a week after the release of the fourth beta.
Developers and public beta testers can download iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 through the Apple Developer Center or over the air after installing the appropriate profile on their iPhone or iPad.
It is not yet known what’s new in iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, as Apple has already implemented all the features that were announced for iOS and iPadOS 15, and most likely work on iOS 15 with iOS 16 is coming to an end.
No new features were found in the first two beta versions of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, so the third beta version is likely focused on bug fixes and other improvements to the operating system.
iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 could be some of the last updates to iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 as Apple is currently working on iOS 16 due out this fall.
Apple also releases new third betas of tvOS 15.6, watchOS 8.7, and macOS Monterey 12.5
