According to new data from Sensor Tower so the mobile game market in the US will have decreased by 9.6 percent during the first half of 2022 compared to the same period the year before. Something that was first noticed by Apple Insider.
The decrease should be seen across all categories of games except for board games and arcade games, which instead saw an increase.
Sensor Tower has traced the overall decline to factors such as inflation, fewer covid-19 restrictions and changing privacy settings.
The value of the American mobile game market is currently estimated to be 11.4 billion dollars, corresponding to approximately 116.6 billion kroner.
