Dragon Ball Fighter Z made us vibrate at the end of day 2 of EVO 2022. In addition to the magnificent victory of Wawafrom third place in yasha and fourth place Kayne (which makes three French people in the Top 4), the game had some good news for us.

Dragon Ball FighterZ follows the fashion of this EVO

Before moving on to the good news, it should be noted that the producer of the game Tomoko Hiroki began by announcing that Dragon Ball Fighter Z was ending his follow-up and thatso there will be no more new characters added or even new balance patches. But there will still be one last thing on the horizon: the netcode rollback.

Yes after so many years of requests from the community, the game will finally change its online, well almost since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions (not even talking about the Switch) will not be affected unlike the PC version. To be able to take advantage of the rollback on consoles, you will have to play on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series versions which are therefore announced in passing.

And rest assured, the upgrade will be available on both platforms. This will go through Smart Delivery on Xbox which will therefore necessarily be free but nothing says for the moment that it will not be necessary to pay on PS4. No release date or window has been communicated for the moment, we are simply invited to follow Bandai Namco’s social networks for more information very soon.

Dragon Ball Fighter Z is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, but also one day on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series therefore.
