The State Duma adopted a law on the creation of a domestic mobile application store. According to the document, Russia provides for the development of an analogue of the App Store or Google Play, which will be mandatory pre-installed on technical devices.
Recall that earlier the Cabinet of Ministers introduced a draft law on the development of a domestic mobile application store in Russia. Despite the fact that the government project was not considered in the first reading, the rule on the creation of an analogue of the App Store appeared in the second reading of the bill on strengthening the protection of personal data of Russians.
As clarified in the committee on information policy, the amendment was initiated into the bill for more rapid adoption of the legislative norm.
