Yesterday we learned that Viber was blocked by the self-proclaimed authorities of the temporarily occupied Kherson region.
The move is intended to cut off hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians from contact with their families, from sources of truthful information in the channels of state institutions and the Ukrainian media, and from access to critical services, such as banking.
The Rakuten Viber team is successfully supporting the work of the application in Kherson and the region after yesterday’s blocking by the self-proclaimed authorities. Now Viber is fully available again for all users in Ukraine.
