Apple seems to have plans to release a new case for its AirPods Max headphones, a case that seems to have a slightly more traditional form factor than the current AirPods Max case.
A new patent granted by Apple to the USPTO presents a sketch of an oval-like case. The patent also describes a function that allows the case to be kept closed with the help of magnets, which means that you do not have to close the case with, for example, a zipper or something else.
Whether Apple will actually release a new case for AirPods Max is still unknown. Below is a picture of AirPods Max’s current case.
