A few weeks ago, a rumor circulated due to a leak, now it’s official: Biomutant is being optimized separately for the newer PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
The action game Biomutant actually makes the leap to the newer PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in an optimized form. Corresponding speculation had recently arisen due to a leak, and the official confirmation followed today.
The title will be available for the new platforms from September 6, 2022 and will shine in new graphic splendor thanks to the power of the consoles. The makers sometimes promise a native 4K resolution, extremely fast loading times, HDR support and up to 60 fps.
On the same day you can buy a native game version for both platforms in stores. Owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions can claim a free upgrade to the improved version should they have in the meantime purchased the newer console. But that only works within the same console family; a free change from Xbox One to PS5, for example, is therefore not possible. Existing scores can be taken over when upgrading.

- Performance: 60FPS @ 1440p
In addition, the DualSense is supported with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, motion control and speaker sound.
