Work on the next GTA seems to be gaining momentum.
It seems that Rockstar is starting to get properly started with the development of GTA VI (or what the next part of the series might be called). In a status report tells one that development resources are moved to the next GTA-title.
Unfortunately, it has consequences for Red Dead Online. The game will not receive any major content updates this year, says Rockstar in a post that with lots of positive words tries to alleviate the negative message. But they will continue to update existing content and release minor content updates, so the game is not abandoned.
Alongside seasonal special events and experience improvements – plus other changes to enhance and maintain a healthy Red Dead Online environment – we plan to build upon existing modes and add new Telegram Missions this year, rather than delivering major themed content updates like in previous years, and we will continue to highlight and share the creative efforts of our Red Dead community at every opportunity via the Newswire and beyond.
Gloomy message for the players who already think Rockstar has abandoned RDOand who campaigned for more content under the hashtag #savereddeadonline.
For the smash hit GTA Online on the other hand, it looks like there will be a lot of new content, which underlines that that game is more important for the company’s cash flow than Red Dead Redemption 2: s onlinedel.
More GTA VI: the other day Rockstar was reported to have put remasters off Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV in mothballs and instead invest fully in GTA VI. No confirmed information, it must be said. But regardless of the truth content, the above news confirms that Rockstar has really gotten started GTA VIdevelopment. And it feels like time like this almost nine years later GTA Vthe premiere.
