Chinese gadget maker Realme continues to tease key features of the GT2 Explorer Master Editon as the company says the upcoming flagship will be the world’s first mobile device with LPDDR5X RAM.
LPDDR5X RAM offers faster read/write speeds of up to 8.5 Gb/s compared to 6.4 Gb/s in LPDDR5. The new standard also consumes 20% less power, making it a win-win for a flagship.
Previously, the brand confirmed that the device will receive a top Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and now Realme has shown a metal frame and a 10-bit display with HDR10+ and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The official announcement of Realme GT2 Explorer Master Editon will take place on Tuesday, July 12th.
