At the international forum “Engineers of the Future”, specialists from the Russian Space Systems holding company presented a hunter satellite that collects and disposes of garbage in near-Earth orbit.

The satellite, using a special network, will be able to collect failed small satellites, fragments of spacecraft and upper stages, as well as other operational debris.
The main feature of the satellite is the processing of the collected garbage into fuel, which will be used by the device to clean up higher orbits. We can say that the device is autonomous and works while collecting garbage.
