Splatoon 3 Direct: RDV August 10 at 3 p.m.

“It was time !” will be able to exclaim the most seasoned fans of Splatoon. Indeed, the third opus is expected next month, and the absence of E3 or General Direct to fill the communication hole that this leaves us gave us little visibility on the continuation of the series of TPS of nintendo. This is now over, since a Splatoon 3 Live is scheduled for… the day after tomorrow. So we meet at 3 p.m. this Wednesday, August 10 for news of the game. Remember that Splatoon 3 is planned for next September 9 on Nintendo Switch.

What can we expect from Direct?

This is THE question we are entitled to ask ourselves. There does not seem to be a lot of information about the title that has not already been revealed. We know that multiplayer modes will all return and that a single player campaign will be part of it. nintendo has of course detailed the novelties that await us since the announcement of the game: new Bosses of the Salmon Run, new weapons with the category of the arc which makes its arrival as well as new secondary and special weapons, as well as new maps. We will even be entitled to all the string of accessories accompanying the OLED switches in game colors.

So what’s left? Well, no doubt the single player mode of which we don’t know much yet, except that it should take place in a ravaged Earth, in accordance with the result of the FinalFest of Splatoon 2 who had seen Chaos prevail over Order. We were of course entitled to the global theme, the return of the mammals, but that tells us nothing about the structure that this new adventure will have. Promotional images recall theOcto-Expansion while the very first trailer seemed to take us to open areas. Maybe we’ll have a bit of both in the end? We can also expect the announcement of a Global Testfire to start trying our hand at Territory Warenough to add a little more fun to a decidedly busy summer on nintendo-switch.
