The Ubisoft team has this week The Division Resurgence announced a new third-person shooter, but this time not for PC and consoles, but for iOS and Android will appear. It is actually the first Mobile spin-off of The Division series. The Ubisoft title will be on a Free2Play model – but playfully rely on well-known content that fans already know from The Division 1 & 2. The makers have not announced a release.
What awaits you in The Division Resurgenge?
Alone or in co-op, you’ll once again fight for law and order as an agent on the streets of New York City. Various PvE content – including story missions and world activities – will be available in the mobile game. The story aims to give you a fresh look at the events that took place in Division 1 & 2 happened. However, the spin-off will still tell its own story. New equipment and weapons are also included.
Trailer provides first look at game
In line with the announcement, Ubisoft already has the first one trailers shared to The Division Resurgence. In it you get to see the first scenes from the mobile spin-off. Veterans of the shooter series should quickly feel at home here. Also screenshots on the official website of the title show us familiar menus that we already know from the AAA games. Closed Alpha coming soon
Ahead of the launch of The Division Resurgence, Ubisoft invites its players to participate in a Closed Alpha to participate. The registrations for this have already started. At the beginning of the test phase, only invited players will initially be able to try out the spin-off. The exact start date is still unknown – but it should be ready soon. Ubisoft has not yet revealed whether there will also be an open beta.
