The New Jersey City University campus in Jersey City was evacuated Friday morning because of a bomb threat. In a note to students and staff, acting school President Jason Kroll said officials at the Kennedy Boulevard school were notified of the bomb threat by Jersey City police. “In the interest of everyone’s safety, we are asking everyone to evacuate the campus immediately,” Kroll said in the alert. “All classes and activities are cancelled.
