A gratifying announcement of the Nacon Connect was a new first-person shooter that you experience through the sights of what is probably the toughest cop in the world: as a Robocop you get to the bottom of OCP’s machinations.
After Terminator: Resistance, the developers of Teyon grab the next soft version of a screen icon. In Robocop: Rogue City, the steely cyborg cleans up with cheeky terrorists, who appear to be just part of a much bigger problem.
The Desert Eagle Auto is reliable
Of course, Robo relies on his Desert Eagle, which has become an automatic weapon with short bursts of fire, in the effective shootouts against a majority of bad guys. The fiends look very old very quickly and one of the aggressors gets too close to the metal Murphy, then he is sent to the eternal hunting grounds with a punch or gets a metal container for breakfast. The first trailer shows short shootouts, in which an ED-209 should of course not be missing. To make things perfect for fans, even Peter Weller comes out of retirement to lend his face and voice to Robocop once again.
OCP pulls the strings
Furthermore, connoisseurs quickly realize that Omni Consumer Products, or OCP for short, have their dirty hands in the game again. So Robocop not only has to fight countless terrorists in the field, but also uncover a big and well-kept secret in the course of the game. Whether he can stick to his three directives at any time or whether he will again have a problem with the fourth directive buried deep in the system can only be guessed at this point.
Fans don’t have to wait too long either, Robocop: Rogue City will be released for PC and next-gen consoles in June 2023.
