An actress has just confirmed that a Marvel series developed by Netflix will be making a comeback on Disney+.

This was undoubtedly to be one of the key announcements of the D23, organized in September by Disney, but Rosario Dawson took a little advance. The actress, who stood out as Claire Temple on Netflix, has just announced that another superhero will be entitled to her revival on Disney+.

Since the end of the series Defenders on Netflix, the protagonists were absent subscribers. Fans are still numerous, however, and Disney + intends to give them a reason to rejoice. After the return of Matt Murdock alias Daredevil in his dedicated series, it’s the turn of an anti-hero to get a revival.

Under the leadership of the firm with big ears, Franck Castle will return to service. After taking revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, he should again explore the New York criminal networks to repair the many injustices like the one he suffered.

It was during C2E2, a fan convention in Chicago, that the actress confirmed the rumor. She also noted that this is the only Marvel / Netflix series that she has not explored, and has not hidden her desire to participate in this great comeback. However, she did not provide more information on this mysterious project.

Jon Bernthal ready to put on the costume again?

For now, Marvel is withholding information. The firm has not confirmed or denied this information, and will probably not do so before September. However, it is difficult to imagine seeing the character played by another actor again. Jon Bernthal should thus be on the trip. Like most of the actors who have appeared in a series Defenders, the sudden cancellation of programs left a sour taste. They should thus have the opportunity to close the adventures of their characters.

We can imagine that Jessica Jones and Luke Cage suffer the same fate over the next few months. For iron fist, difficult for the moment to know if a return is in the program. The series worn by Finn Jones was far from unanimous, Marvel could experience some reluctance to bring him back.

An official entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Until now, heroes have evolved on the fringes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Despite the studios’ involvement in the creative process, Netflix had developed the franchises entirely independently of the Avengers adventures. While Wilson Fisk has already crossed paths with Kate Bishop and Clint Barton, and Matt Murdock has invited himself to Spiderman, we can imagine that they will now cross paths on many occasions.

Difficult to know, however, if Marvel plans to invite them to the big screen in solo projects. One thing is certain, however, we have not finished hearing about them. Hopefully these new productions will live up to it.
