After three breathtaking first episodes, The Dark Pictures saga is preparing its return with its fourth opus The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me. What could SUPERMASSIVE Games have prepared for us this time? Answer in the latest trailer unveiled by publisher Bandai Namco.
A report that will go wrong
New place for a new story. After the abandoned city, the boat, without forgetting your little excursion to Iraq. The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me will invite you to visit Murder Castle, a place that serves as a reconstruction of a hotel that belonged to America’s very first serial killer.
Accompanied by a television crew, reporter Kate Wilder (played by actress Jessie Buckley) is given the task of producing a story on this sordid place for the Loonis Entertainment channel.
Its founder, Charlie Lonnit, sees it as an excellent opportunity to save his show, whose audiences are at half mast, but at what price?
Arrived on site, Kate and her team quickly feel observed. What was supposed to be a routine report will turn into a real race against death. All will have only one goal, to escape from this hotel as quickly as possible!
In addition to the trailer, the video also allows us to see the Animatronic Collector’s Edition of the game containing: a business card from the Loonis Entertainment TV channel, a map of the island where the hotel is located, a postcard and its exclusive envelope, an animatronic bust of 11 cm.
Finally, a Volume 2 Edition including House of Ashes and The Devil in Me will also be offered. You will find two collector’s pins, an exclusive card game with the characters of House of Ashes as well as a map of the hotel found in The Devil in Me.
Expected release Fall 2022 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
