HBO Max has started rolling out a new version of its app for iPhone and iPad.
The big news this time is support for Shareplay, the feature that allows you to watch movies and TV series together with your friends via Facetime.
Another novelty is a button that lets you choose a new TV series to watch at random, something that should make it easier for anyone with decision anxiety.
The iPad also supports Split View, which makes it possible to watch HBO Max while doing something else on the tablet.
As usual, it is users in the US who get access to the new version first, but sooner or later the upgrade will also come to our part of the world.
