With only a couple of months left before the release of the iPhone 14, a new leak shows that rumors that Apple will add a Plus model to the lineup may be true. If that happens, Apple’s next lineup could include the iPhone 14, Pro, Plus, and Pro Max.
On the image tweeted DuanRui, we see four different cases for the upcoming lineup. DuanRui found an image of the cases in a Weibo post. By looking at the image, you can see that the iPhone 14 Plus will be a larger non-professional device.
The camera protrusions are very similar to the 13 range, however a Weibo user suggests that the distance between the lenses is slightly larger. At the same time, cases for the iPhone 13, most likely, will not fit new devices.
Previous Observations
Just last month, we saw iPhone 14 mockups showing a design similar to last year’s iPhone 13. While the back of the iPhone should look familiar, there are rumors that Apple will remove the notch from the device’s screen. Most likely, the ruler will have a hole punch and a tablet-shaped cutout instead of the controversial notch.
This leaked image also suggests that Apple has discontinued the iPhone mini this year. The iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini, beloved by some, pack a lot of power into their small stature; ideal for users who need a pocket-sized device.
