EVO 2022 will have been the scene of many announcements this year and on the side of Bandai Namco Entertainment, it was the perfect time to discuss the future of Tekken. Katsuhiro Harada, the producer of the series, unveiled a mysterious video in which we are teased the future of the franchise. Short, the video however exploded with joy all the people present in the room of the EVO who knows full well that it is Tekken 8 that we are talking about. Obviously, Harada did not wish to confirm the thing, but hard not to believe it. Because if the video opens with a cinematic of the first Tekken on PS1, where Kazuya throws the body of his father Heihachi from the top of a cliff, the transition to a recent 3D model has something to arouse interest. This is all the more obvious when you consider that Tekken 7 was released in 2015 and many are now expecting a sequel instead of the usual updates and rebalances. Perhaps we will have to wait until the Game Awards at the end of the year, since the account of the event allowed itself a small post to reinforce the news.

The post a teaser that leaves no room for doubt, here is the video appeared first on Gamingsym.
